The new Carrosserie Pfister AG building in Herisau is an eye-catcher. The building takes on the shape of a car. The facade was clad in ALUCOBOND. Inside, the employees perform precision work, repairing and restoring vehicles that make the hearts of car enthusiasts beat faster. And last but not least, Carrosserie Pfister AG is the first energy-self-sufficient body shop in Switzerland. Reason enough to make a short film about this special building.

To maximize resources, we're increasingly shooting film projects in such a way that we can also generate content for social media channels from the footage. This was also the case during the shoot for roundabout Eastern Switzerland.

We often receive inquiries about whether it's possible to shoot a film and also produce clips for social media channels. The answer is: Yes, it's possible. You have to plan it in advance, and then you can kill two birds with one stone: film and social media content using the same basic material. The advantage, of course, is that you can achieve a very good cost-benefit ratio. For roundabout Eastern Switzerland, we shot a short film with live footage and interview excerpts. All the interviews were then prepared for the social media channels.

ALTITUDE
ALTITUDE is a film shot on the occasion of a very special sponsored bike race in the high Himalayas. The film depicts the experiences of the bikers and also informs about the conditions under which Nepali migrant workers work and live in Ladakh.

From time to time, we work for NGOs on special terms—including this film project: ALTITUDE is the brainchild of Himalayan Life CEO Daniel Bürgi. He wanted to ride 600 kilometers in the thin air of the high Himalayas on a gravel bike. Encouraged by our friend Denise Wiltse's commitment to ride with us, the idea was born to complete ALTITUDE with an entire team. My task was to make a film together with Dani Rimann that would document the ALTITUDE Ride and also depict the living conditions of Nepali guest workers in northern India. The music was composed by Sebastian Bach .

Himalayan Life has been working in Nepal for over 20 years. After the devastating earthquake in 2015 in the Kathmandu region, the NGO became particularly active in the Yangri Valley. The organization helped rebuild infrastructure. However, more is needed to achieve long-term change. Therefore, Himalayan Life opened a school in the remotest village of the Yangri Valley in 2018. Tragically, this school was destroyed by a spring tide in June 2021. Thanks to the generous support and compassion of supporters, it will be possible to rebuild the school.
