To create jobs for marginalised people, Himalayan Life created Nepal's first PET recycling plant in 2012. The social enterprise employs around 55 people, and around 350 collectors bring empty PET bottles for recycling. In addition to creating jobs, the company also contributes to Himalayan Life's other projects.
